Transfer Credit

  • Review the UW Equivalency Guide.
    Find out how courses taken at a Washington state community or technical college will transfer to the University of Washington. admit.washington.edu/apply/transfer/equivalency-guide
  • Review credits for exams (AP, IB, A-Level).
    Find out how your exam scores can translate to UW classes.
  • Check your degree audit.
    Make sure your transferred General Education credits fulfill UW requirements. Take note of what, if any, prerequisites you still need to complete, and if you are eligible to begin taking coursework in your major this quarter. myplan.uw.edu


  • Set up direct deposit with Student Fiscal Services.
    Receive refunds/aid disbursements and give parents/others access to your tuition statement via Info Release. finance.uw.edu/sfs/home
  • Create a UW Handshake account. uw.joinhandshake.com

  • Make a deposit to your Husky Card account.
