As a first-year student, you are required to upload your Husky Card photo.
The Husky Card is your primary identification card that is used on campus to access materials, housing, and make purchases. It is now increasingly required to tap into or swipe to access buildings and rooms on campus. To receive your Husky Card, you are required to upload a photo. Be sure to review the requirements for a Husky Card photo before submitting it.
You'll also need a government-issued photo ID to submit your photo. If you are an international student, an image of your passport will be accepted as a form of government-issued ID. If you do not have a government-issued photo ID, you need to submit three documents: a birth certificate, social security card, and another form of photo ID such as a high school ID.
If you choose not to upload a photo, you'll need to wait to arrive on campus and visit the Husky Card office located on the ground floor of Odegaard Undergraduate Library to have your photo taken and card printed.
If you are undocumented (or do not have any form of ID), please contact the Husky ID Card office directly, and they will work with you on document verification. Please check off the box below and select "Save and Continue" so that you can continue to work through the checklist items.
UW Bothell and UW Tacoma transfer students: you do not need to upload a new photo as your current student card will become active after you transfer to UW Seattle.
