The First-Year Checklist includes important tasks you must complete as you begin your journey at the UW, including making your A&O reservation. Items marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

- Complete transition questionnaire*

- Update personal information

- Complete chemistry placement
- Complete computer science and engineering guided self-placement

Tasks due before the 1st day of the quarter
- A message from the Provost
- Complete UW course: alcohol e-checkup to go*
- Complete UW course: hazing prevention training*
- Complete UW course: Title IX: Husky Prevention & Response*
- Review disability accommodations request process (academic year)
- Using digital tools at the UW
Additional tasks (all students)
- Make an A&O reservation
- Make a plan for Dawg Daze (summer and autumn admits only)
- Review the Husky Foundations course
- Review MMM immunization requirement* (within the first three weeks of the quarter)
- Stay connected through UW social media
- Submit your final transcripts
Additional tasks (international students)
- Access MyISSS (F and J visa holders only)
- Request your I-20/DS-2019
- Obtain your visa
- Complete the International Student Services (ISS) post-arrival checklist
- Attend an International Husky Welcome
- Participate in Regional Connection Groups
