We encourage schools and districts to use the public campus as a learning environment. Below are the next steps you might explore in planning your visit day. The UW Visitors center has a robust website with information to plan your visit.
- Request a Group Tour through the Office of Admissions
- The Office of Admissions will try to accommodate group tours. Consider a self-guided tour and explore key locations on campus if group tours are booked.
Create your visit day
- Consider bringing students on a day with pre-scheduled events.
- Book a space on campus.
- Several spaces at the UW are open to the public for booking if you have a formal program. Room fees vary.
- Husky Union Building - located in the center of campus, hosts a game room, food options, and a bowling alley.
- Ethnic Cultural Center- located on the west campus, hosts over 60 cultural registered student organizations.
- wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ Intellectual House - Located on the north campus, the UW's first longhouse.
- There are also several open grassy outdoor areas, including The Quad, Hub Lawn, and Rainier Vista, to have students eat lunch.

- Connect with individual departments, schools, and units.
- Each academic unit has its own outreach and recruitment area. If you have a particular area of study, you are encouraged to reach out to the school or unit to see if they have someone who can connect with your school.
