Each year, the University of Washington recognizes 100 exceptional students through the Husky 100 program. The Husky 100 celebrates those who are making the most of their time at UW and representing a diverse range of majors across all UW campuses. Both undergraduate and graduate students are honored for their achievements. We’re proud to share that this year, two students connected with First Year Programs have been recognized as part of the Husky 100: Dianna Laguan (2020 Ortientation Leader, 2021 Advising & Orienteering Student Coordinator, 2021 and 2022 FIG Leader), and Hisham Bhatti (2024 FIG Leader).
Husky 100 recipients are selected for their ability to bridge classroom learning with real-world impact. They think creatively, embrace exploration, champion inclusivity, and take on leadership roles across various fields. Each of them is committed to personal growth and community engagement, and ready to take on future opportunities and challenges.
Being part of the Husky 100 comes with a range of benefits. Honorees receive formal recognition from UW leadership and gain access to valuable networking and professional development resources across all campuses. To learn more about this year’s recipients, the selection criteria, and program benefits, visit the Husky 100 website.
Congratulations to Dianna and Hisham in the 2025 Husky 100!
