Each year, the Husky 100 highlights 100 students who are capitalizing on their time at UW. The Husky 100 represents undergraduate and graduate students from all UW campuses, across all areas of study. Recipients of the 2024 Husky 100 honors were recently announced, and we are excited to highlight students who have previously worked with First Year Programs! Thomas Alexander Sefair-Lopez (2022 & 2023 FIG Leader), Citlalli Judith Cruz (2021 Orientation Leader), and Manan Vasdev (2022 & 2023 FIG Leader) have all been recognized in this year's class.
The Husky 100 are slected based on a wide range of criteria. The Husky 100 build connections between their classroom learning and their communities. They demonstrate innovative ways of thinking and a focus on discovering more. They strive to promote diversity and inclusivity in their communities. They serve as leaders in a variety of fields, and they are ready for life's next challenges and opportunities.
As members of the Husky 100, students receive several benefits. The Husky 100 receive formal recognition from UW leadership and gain access to networking opportunities and resources across all UW campuses.
