Required Qualifications

  • Be a degree-seeking undergraduate student at the UW Seattle campus in Fall 2025. 
  • Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Must be able to attend the Virtual Registration Assistant Welcome Night (June 4, 2025, 5:00–6:00 p.m. in-person, paid)
  • Must be able to commit to attending the Summer Training days (June 30–July 2 virtual, paid)
  • Review and be able to work the dates of Advising & Orientation Part 2 (Summer calendar)
  • Be in good academic and conduct standing with the University, prior to and throughout the entire term of employment.
  • Have stable wi-fi connection to support showing video and facilitating an A&O Zoom meeting (recommended 50 Mbps).
  • Must be able to turn their cameras on and host A&O in a distraction-free, quiet environment located in the United States.
  • Must be enthusiastic and genuinely interested in helping fellow students.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in similar or related activities (e.g., Orientation Leader, Resident Advisor, CUADSS Student Associate, Student Government/Club Executive Officer, work with young adults, or other Peer Advising positions)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Highly motivated and proven ability to work independently
  • Experience working with diverse populations of students, staff, and faculty
