FIG Leaders are current undergraduate students who facilitate and build lesson plans for the GEN ST 199 course. 

• Request or Nominate a FIG Leader: if you are wanting to request a FIG Leader, feel free to email cluster@uw.edu and we will do our best to work with you and your request & allow you to nominate students who would be good for the role.
• FIG Leader Application: FIG Leader Recruitment Begins in Autumn Quarter in preparation for the upcoming Autumn quarter. The application deadline & interviews occur during Winter Quarter. For more information please visit: fyp.washington.edu/apply 
• Meet the First-year Interest Group Leader paired with your course: Email figs@uw.edu if you want to get in contact with the FIG leader paired with your course. FIG leaders will be paired with FIGs in mid-June.
