Three events, one tradition. Attend Convocation, UW's official welcome, with family and new friends, connect with new Huskies in your First-year Interest Group (FIG) or GEN ST 205 class, and take your class W Photo as one Husky family. We will take the W Photo rain or shine!
We encourage you to show your Husky spirit however that works for you. Our official colors are purple and gold. To start your Husky journey with pride, every incoming undergraduate student gets a free t-shirt to wear to Husky Kickoff. Follow the instructions in your A&O Part 3 agenda to pick up your t-shirt.
New Student Convocation: You are invited to attend our welcome ceremony for all new Huskies and their families. You must register for Convocation (tickets are free) in order to attend.
Select the agenda based on your enrollment in a FIG, E-FIG (General Studies 199) or General Studies 205 C (transfer students). To avoid losing your agenda, all links on this page will open in new tabs.
