First-Year Networks is a program designed to help you get connected with other incoming students.  

First-Year Networks seek to increase connection among first-year students by providing engagement opportunities and infrastructure that build community between students. First-Year Networks are groups of incoming students who share common interests. Through the First-Year Networks program, you will get:

• Access a private online community of first-year students with shared interests 
• Autumn and Winter events where you can meet other first-year students and make new friends
• Weekly emails from current UW students providing information about opportunities to get involved
